FAQ
You probably have a few. Here are the ones we hear most — and if yours isn't here, just ask.
Yes — an active New Jersey real estate salesperson license is the one credential you need. If you don't have one yet, the required pre-license coursework can often be completed in a matter of weeks, or spread out to fit a busy schedule. We're happy to point you toward the steps.
As a referral associate, you avoid the MLS dues, board fees, and day-to-day obligations that come with active practice. License maintenance requirements are set by the State — we'll help you understand what applies to you, and you can confirm current rules with the New Jersey Real Estate Commission.
Whichever way is easiest for you: a phone call to 973-736-1600, an email, or our quick online referral form. All we need is the person's name, the best way to reach them, and a sentence about whether they're buying or selling.
You earn a referral fee — a share of the commission — when a referral you send closes with one of our agents. The fee scales with the sale price, so a larger transaction means a larger fee. Exact amounts depend on the specific transaction and the terms of your associate agreement. The estimator on our What You Earn page shows how the math works.
Your referral fee is processed after the transaction closes. There's no invoicing or chasing on your end — we handle it.
No. Refer as often as opportunities come up — whether that's a few times a year or more. There's no quota and no minimum.
