What you earn
When a referral you send closes with one of our agents, you earn a referral fee — a share of the commission on that sale. The bigger the sale, the bigger the fee.
Estimate it
Example only, based on a 2.5% sale-side commission and a 25% referral fee. Your actual fee depends on the transaction and your associate agreement.
Sample math
These figures show how the arrangement works — not a guarantee. Every transaction is different.
| Home sale price | Sale-side commission (2.5%) | Your referral fee (25%) |
|---|---|---|
| $350,000 | $8,750 | $2,188 |
| $500,000 | $12,500 | $3,125 |
| $750,000 | $18,750 | $4,688 |
| $1,000,000 | $25,000 | $6,250 |
| $1,500,000 | $37,500 | $9,375 |
Illustrative only. Commission rates are negotiable and not set by law; referral percentages and any splits are defined in your Jordan Baris Referrals associate agreement.
Why it adds up
You're not starting a second job. You're earning from relationships you already have — the neighbor who's downsizing, the colleague relocating, the friend buying their first home.
Because you skip the dues, education, and overhead that active agents carry, far more of what you earn stays with you.
